Scientific Lead
Role Overview
Working in their Scientific and Editorial team it will be your role to provide senior level scientific, strategic and commercial expertise to multiple therapy areas, products and clients. You will be involved in line management and mentoring, work closely alongside the leadership team as well as contribute to the development of new business proposals and pitches.

Role Requirements
· Provide senior level scientific, strategic and commercial expertise to multiple therapy areas, products and clients
· Research, write, edit, proofread and data check scientific materials over a full range of deliverables
· Review scientific content to ensure that materials comply with guidelines, deadlines, budgets and other agreed specifications
· Liaise effectively with clients, external experts and authors to establish, develop and maintain strong relationships and advocacy
· Manage on-site delivery to meet client/faculty/attendee/internal requirements
· Keep up to date with industry self-regulation and compliance guidelines
· Provide support, mentoring and timely, consistent and constructive feedback to editorial team members
· Work closely with leadership team
· Line manage other team members Ensure timesheets are completed accurately and submitted on time
· Contribute to the development of new business proposals and pitches
· Work with the company Directors to ensure company financial targets are achieved
· Contribute to the development of project budgets, timelines, reconciliations and invoices
Person Specifications
· Life science degree (preferably pharmacology/pharmacy, medicine, biomedical sciences)
· Higher degree (MSc, PhD)
· Previous agency experience, in a writer and reviewer capacity
· Previous line management or mentoring experience
· Previous academic or pharmaceutical writing experience
