Role Overview
The team are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join the client handling team to support the high-quality delivery of work in your allocated accounts, mentor the more junior members of the team and further develop your commercial and strategic skills as you progress in your position.
With therapy areas including cardiovascular disease, oncology, diabetes and rare diseases, no two campaigns are the same; your ability to project manage and motivate the rest of the account handling team will be key in developing these and new accounts for the agency.

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

The agency combines expertise in consumer digital marketing and healthcare communications to deliver integrated digital campaigns to enhance HCP customer experiences.
Role Requirements
Key tasks:
1. Own the projects you deliver, get client sign-off at the relevant project stages, and ensure all internal and external stakeholders are clearly briefed, motivated and involved at the
appropriate stages
2. Identify and initiate business opportunities with new and existing clients. Be proactive in bringing potential opportunities to fruition
3. Manage your own project workload and that of your team to ensure projects have the correct resource allocated, are delivered on time and are profitable
4. Assist in managing the accounts finance. Ensure accurate quotes are provided to clients and circulated internally. Monitor profitability of jobs. If any problems arise, be sure to raise them early with the team
Person Specifications
At least 3 years’ experience, gained in a Med Comms agency, or in-house environment.
Outstanding project management and organisational skills, with a good understanding of the commercial drivers of the business
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with strong evidence of teamwork
Strong understanding of the industry and its regulations in the US and EU
Good evidence of achievement in client service excellence and proactive financial management support for the team, to deliver projects to budget and on schedule
Ideally degree in a biomedical science.
