Are you a Band 5 / 6 / 7 Biomedical Scientist with experience of FISH (fluorescent in situ hybridisation) looking for an exciting new opportunity?

My client is an international diagnostics and genetic analysis business looking for a Senior Biomedical Scientist to specialise in FISH in their laboratory. This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills in biomedical science within a private laboratory.

What are my client looking for?
– a Band 5 / 6 Biomedical Scientist
– at least 2 months experience in FISH
– HCPC registered
– commutable to Nottingham

What will you be doing?
– assisting laboratory activities to facilitate the provision of a high-quality cellular pathology service
– carrying out key histopathological techniques, mainly HER2 fluorescent in-situ hybridisation (FISH)
– assisting the team of biomedical scientists in the laboratory to ensure that targets are met and laboratory stocks and equipment are maintained
