Senior Sales Manager
Role Overview
Principal Accountabilities:
Mapping of the market to allow targeting of potential customers in the research and clinical lab sector
Educating the market as to the potential value of liquid biopsy/CTC research studies and potential role of CTCs in therapy decision
Shaping direct communications for target customers as well as supporting marketing team to develop outreach activity
Coordination of, and attendance at conferences across Europe, thus building technology awareness and building customer relationships
Building relationships with leading cancer researchers in academia and clinical space to raise profile and technology awareness
Prospecting for new opportunities and developing new leads
Using CRM to manage customers down the sales funnel. This may include managing evaluations of the our system, overseeing training at customer sites and supporting customers to ensure successful evaluation of the technology
Manage existing customer base to ensure they get value from our technology and continue to purchase consumables
Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks as required

Role Requirements
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Attributes:
BSc. in Life Sciences OR an equivalent combination of commercial experience and formal education. Masters or PhD an advantage – particularly in oncology space.
Proven successful sales experience, including selling into the academic, translational and clinical research market as well as clinical lab market. Preferentially product and services for oncology.
Research background a significant advantage; strong understanding of common laboratory analysis techniques (including NGS, PCR, Immunocytochemistry) essential.
Strong scientific/technical aptitude.
Exemplary customer service, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
An eye for detail and commitment to high quality data.
Continuous learner with a keen appetite for cross-disciplinary work.
Possess a flexible, can-do approach to the requirements of the job.
