Field Service Engineer for Mobility / Patient Handling- service, maintenance and repair of specialist hoists and stairlifts, used in hospitals, care homes and schools – covering a regional territory depending on your location.

Experience working as an engineer in a patient care environment is required.
Role Summary:
· Meet daily service maintenance and repair needs of customer equipment
· Weight testing equipment to Loler guidelines
· Completion of service and repair documentation via smart phone PDA device
· Manage van stock levels, ensuring that at all times the required stock levels are maintained in line with achieving a first time fix and the assigned daily workload
· Identify required specialist parts via equipment user manuals and communicating these requests
· Maintaining tools and test equipment ensuring they are properly calibrated and reviewed in line with H&S compliance
· Adhere to Risk/Method Statements and contract Operating Procedures at all times
· Effectively communicate/escalate issues to the back office scheduling team
· Participate in the company call out rota
· Ensure excellent customer relationships and service orientated approach
· Identifying and participate in sales opportunities such as new contracts, contract renewals and equipment/service package sales
· Work to the culture of health and safety first
Person Specification:
· Experience with power tools and hand tools
· Experience working as a service repair engineer in patient care environments
· Excellent communication skills and customer-service focused.
· Analytically minded and forward-thinking
· Proactive, with good problem-solving skills, able to make decisions independently
· Flexible approach to work
