Service Support Manager
Role Overview
We are recruiting for an exciting Service Support Manager opportunity to work with a global leading company for the water treatment industry,

We are looking for applicants with at least 3 years’ service management experience looking after engineers, this can be from any industry. Ideally based within the Central Belt of Scotland.
Role Requirements
· The role of Service Support Manager (SSM) is responsible for leading and developing the Field Service teams to ensure that our clients continue to receive the best in class quality service.
· You will also be required to grow the field service business by working closely with Commercial Departments to develop and maximise opportunities.
· To always present a professional image to customers whether by telephone, in writing or in person as well as develop and maintain good working relationships with customers through providing best in class quality service.
· Liaise with Scheduling/Tech Support/Projects/Parts as appropriate to optimise Engineer Utilisation/Recoveries.
· Attend customer meetings as requested to discuss commercial opportunities and/or resolve site issues.
· Have a good understanding of how the team integrates with other teams in order to achieve overall objectives of the area.
· Have full supervisory responsibility by ensuring team members are motivated and capable of delivering a professional service and a high level of performance. Professional leadership includes setting objectives, coaching employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraisal of performance relative to objectives and determination of reward outcomes.
· Recruitment, training, developing and retaining team members.
· Support managers with the team feedback for 1-1’s and the annual appraisal process.
Person Specifications
· 2-3 years’ service management experience- any industry.
· Qualified within Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or a related subject and be able to demonstrate commercial experience of working in a service management role.
· A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
· Excellent communication skills with previous client facing experience.
· Good commercial awareness.
· Team-management experience or the aptitude/willingness to develop in this area.
· Strong IT skills, experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
· Certification in Management Studies is desirable
