Role Overview
JOB TITLE: Supply Chain Assistant
LOCATION: Oxfordshire
Reports to: Head of Distribution Account Management EMEA
Objectives of the position/Scope of duties:
– Manual handling- receiving, packing and getting orders ready for shipment
– Maintaining stock levels
– Sourcing/reordering stock levels

They have gained a leading position in the world market with its innovative magnetic stirrers, mixers, overhead stirrers, shakers, homogenizers, mills, rotary evaporators, calorimeters, laboratory reactors and specially developed software for laboratory and analysis applications, as well as temperature control products such as circulators, baths and chillers.
Role Requirements
These include:
– Completing relevant paperwork for shipping and receiving stock (including international deliveries)
– Update stock spreadsheet, checking stock in and out
– Allocate and fulfil orders from internal stock
– Liaise with Supply Chain Management in the headquarter in Germany
– Liaise with the Finance and sales
– Order processing: coordination of deliveries
– Assist account managers during back order situations and potential order allocation.
– Checking data accuracy in orders
– Data entry
Person Specifications
Qualifications:
– Successfully completed apprenticeship: Warehouse Clerk
– Experience in Supply Chain Management
– Ability to problem solve in a growing business with both new and old software solutions.
– Ability under pressure to deliver excellent service for our customers and distributors as part of a team working for a global company.
– Result oriented and quality conscious.
– Proficiency in English.
– Strong communication and negotiation skills.
– Highly self-motivated and hands-on mentality
– Familiar with SAP, MS Office
Package
Base salary between £25,000 – £33,000 dependent on experience
