Exciting entry level opportunity as a Technical Support Specialist for an innovative and well-established manufacturer of laboratory instruments and glassware!
Role Requirements
· Providing technical support via telephone, email and online chat to end-users, distributors and colleagues
· Pre-sales product selection/specifications and post sales enquires
· Assisting with product installation/start-up/set-up issues
· Diagnosing faults and offering application support
· Communication with suppliers regarding any technical difficulties with supplied equipment
· Support Marketing with technical advice, copy writing, blogs and instructions
· Liaising with end-users, distributors and our sales teams to understand custom requirements
· Co-ordinating the manufacture or supply of the quoted items with purchasing and production
· Testing prototypes and producing reports to share with the team
Person Specifications
· Minimum of a BSc in a Life Science subject
· Excellent communication skills
· Hands-on laboratory skills (desirable)
