Role Overview

Work in a fast-growing company based in the UK with a newly established US office. This is a highly technical field that offers the opportunity to work with some of the biggest and most cutting-edge technology and aerospace companies in the world. This position requires sales staff to build and maintain relationship with both new and existing customers through regular communication and excellent customer service. To meet or exceed sales targets. Increase knowledge of customer industry and sector and ensure the highest levels of customer care, technical knowledge and advice.

Role Requirements

– To provide specialist technical advice in Optics and associated products
– To provide technical sales support and advice to customers
– Research and develop new product ideas
– Seek new key suppliers and maintain supplier database within SAP Business 1
– Answer technical queries applicable to optics
– Produce quotes
– Support the sales team with technical support
– Seek to find solutions to technical problems
– Provide a design service and be able to use CAD and optical design software
– Seek the development or sourcing of new products and ideas that can be commercialized

Person Specifications

– Bachelors degree from a 4 year institution (Prefer science, math or technical degrees)
– Experience with SAP software preferred
– Experience working in a scientific or technical field preferred

Package

Base Salary $50,000 – $55,000
Bonus: Uncapped ($30,000+)
