Role Overview

Based in St Albans, you will develop and grow the sales pipeline of their Photonics, Fibre Optics, Lasers products (opto-mechanics and components) into Academia, and industrial industries.

Role Requirements

Work with customers to understand which products in the portfolio with suit their requirements.
Develop a product proposal for the customer.
Close product orders.
Be familiar with modern sales processes.
Develop and grow the sales pipeline through email, phone contacts and face to face visits.

Person Specifications

Qualified to Degree level in a Science, Photonics, Electronics or similar discipline is preferred.
A strong background in sales backed up with a strong understanding of fibre optics, lasers, optics and related components at a technical level is required.
Experience in dealing with the range of markets which we address including OEM instrumentation, University, Bio medical / Pharmaceutical, Automotive and Military is desirable.
Located in commutable reach of the new office in St Albans.
