Fantastic Opportunity for an Experienced Sales Person to join as a Technical Sales Engineer within the Process Control Industry!

PRODUCTS: Process Control Equipment: Level Measurement, Density Measurement, Concentration Measurement, Bulk Flow measurement, Online moisture measurement, Sources and shields – radiometric systems, Detector Types – radiometry.

CUSTOMERS: Refinery, Oil and Gas Production, Metal and Steel, Chemical and Petrochemical, Sugar, Pulp and Paper, Building materials and construction, Mining and mineral Processing, Water and Recycling, Power Generation, Food and Beverage

TERRITORY: Involves UK wide travel

We are looking to recruit a technical sales engineer for a Process Control range of products. The candidate should be someone with a chemical engineering background and experience working within the Oil Industry.

The position requires the successful candidate to combine technical expertise with a sales oriented approach to the UK customer base.

Role Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Building customer loyalty and retention through the initial sales process and post-sales support.
– Assist in the development and implementation of a sales strategy for the area of responsibility
– Identify and develop sales to major end user customers and new customers.
– Be able to perform Sales demonstrations of instrumentation to high level end user customers.
– Identify and develop new sales opportunities and marketing tools
– Develop and maintain an excellent knowledge of the available instrumentation being offered.
– Promote a professional company image at all times.
– Promote the service capabilities of the organisation.

You will be working with a small team of people in the UK with excellent support from our German factory. Ideally you will have some experience of sales but we will consider those wishing to move into the sale field. Product training will be provided both in the UK and from the factory in Germany.

Person Specifications

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of a BSc degree in a life science discipline
Ideally experience in either an inside or field based scientific sales role
