PRODUCTS: Diagnostics Instrumentation, Immunoassays, Molecular Diagnostics
CUSTOMERS: Clinical and Research Laboratories
The role is predominately office-based in Oxford, with around 30-40% travel across the UK to customer sites when required.

Based in Milton Park, Oxfordshire, Oxford Biosystems was established in 2001 with the aim of sourcing reliable, quality in-vitro diagnostic products and research tools for clinical, industrial and research laboratories.
In 2009 the joining of Cadama Medical Ltd (founded in Birmingham, UK in 2002) with Oxford Biosystems brought together expertise in a wide variety of technologies including ELISA, IRMA, RIA, Real time PCR, EliSpot and Image analysis.
Oxford Biosystems are full members of BIVDA and company members of IBMS and are proud to hold ISO 9001:2015 certification. The company has pledged to be an Antibiotic Guardian in the global challenge of antimicrobial resistance.
At the beginning of 2015 the majority shareholding of Oxford Biosystems was purchased by BioVendor – Laboratorni Medicina a.s, with whom we have had a successful relationship as their UK distributor for many years.

Role Requirements
Technical product support:
-Provision of first line support to customers and company employees for product information and application, including responding to telephone and email enquiries.
-Update the company Technical Library.
-Provide assistance for projects, MSC’s and tenders as required.
-Demonstration of products and production of demonstration materials, assisting sales as required.
-Provision of installation, breakdown and preventative maintenance cover, including all necessary documentation, as required and on time to meet department targets.
-Investigation, documentation and resolution of customer complaints, including liaison with relevant suppliers, in a timely and professional manner.
-Provision of customer feedback and market information to appropriate sales and marketing personnel, including information required for Managed Service Contract reports.
Training:
-Provide on-site or virtual product training for end users and employees as required.
-Maintain product training materials for use in-house and for customer training.
Person Specifications
Educated to Degree level or higher in a life science or related subject
Laboratory experience using IVD products within a Clinical or Research setting
Full UK driving licence
Customer facing/service experience desirable
