Technical Support Engineer
Role Overview
We are looking for an Support Engineer who will be the best point of contact at customer venues and will be responsible for delivering the operational aspect of the event experience in accordance with set performance standards.

We are working with an innovative UK company based on the University West of England (UWE) Campus specialising in supply of portable medical ultrasound imaging systems, Education and Event management to the UK private and public sector. The company works closely with expert medical professionals and facilities to integrate innovative portable ultrasound technology with accredited training.
Role Requirements
In accordance with the planning schedules provided by the Events Manager you will be responsible for delivering the event experience throughout the customer training venues.
You will be the businesses on-site point of contact and responsible for personally transporting, setting up, and returning the ultrasound equipment to and from the training sites.
During the training events you will also identify and harvest commercial sales leads and pass on to the Sales Manager
You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and attention to detail while delivering daily operational excellence for events based on the planning schedules
Person Specifications
This is a customer facing role, so an ability to interact with people of all levels and be willing to adapt to a variety of settings will be essential.
Out of hours availability is essential. (Typically, 50% of events are based on weekends/ evenings)
Excellent communication skills with a very good understanding of written and verbal English are essential.
Driving License and a willingness to drive is essential.
Good understanding of what it takes to deliver operational excellence in events.
General understanding of clinical training environment / medical technology would be an advantage.
Basic computer (Excel, word etc.) and on-line meeting (zoom) skills
General understanding of Audio Visual in events
This is an ideal role for an enthusiastic individual looking to start out in medical Education / Device sales and gain experience within the clinical training environment/medical technology.
Product and sales training will be provided.
As a small team, travelling is essential. This position would require you to be flexible in hours to cover weekends, evenings when required
