Technical Support Specialist
Role Overview
Location – Loughborough Office/ Workshop and home based.
Company Information
As a Technical Support Specialist you are the point of contact for our clients customers, Sales Engineers, their own Service Engineers and distributors. You are responsible for answering the most diverse technical questions that come in by email or telephone.
Role Requirements
– Answering technical help questions and about part numbers from distributors, customers and sales.
– Assist in answering technical questionnaires for tenders.
– Review incoming technical information and make it available to the team.
– Processing warranty claims to Japan.
– All work will be done in collaboration with the other support engineers.
– Purchasing consumable and third-party supplier parts from engineers.
– Management of instrument calibration/service/repair for service/validation/workshop
– Production of RAMS for service.
Person Specifications
– At least a completed HND/HNC/Bsc education with a solid understanding of electrical engineering / service / refrigeration technology;
– Relevant work experience as a service technician, technial support or sales employee;
