Role Overview
Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for the healthcare diagnostics industry? We’re looking for a dedicated Territory Account Manager to drive our success in a dynamic and growing market. This is an exciting opportunity to represent a leading company in the In Vitro Diagnostics sector, managing a designated territory and building strong relationships with key accounts.
As a Territory Account Manager, you will:
– Support the Regional Commercial Manager in executing overall strategy and achieving sales targets.
– Take ownership of pre and post-sales activities for our Haematology and Haemostasis equipment and services.
– Sell Managed Service Contracts (MSC), including a broad portfolio of products and third-party business solutions.
– Collaborate with internal departments to develop and execute successful bids and contracts.
– Ensure high-quality service delivery, managing all aspects of the customer relationship to achieve maximum satisfaction.

Role Requirements
– Drive pre-tender business development activities, including expanding into third-party business areas.
– Develop and implement winning bid strategies, working with stakeholders to secure business through appropriate channels.
– Oversee the preparation and quality of financial and technical tender responses, ensuring compliance and risk management.
– Manage post-sales customer service and support, acting as the main point of contact for customer issues and ensuring contract requirements are met.
– Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular forecasts and updates to the Regional Commercial Manager.
– Build and maintain effective relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the healthcare sector.
Person Specifications
Qualifications and Experience:
– Full UK driving licence.
– Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Key Account Management within the In Vitro Diagnostics industry.
– Proven track record in direct sales roles involving complex sales and tenders.
– Experience with Managed Service Contracts in the healthcare sector.
– Life science degree or equivalent.
– Strong skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
– Excellent negotiation and influencing abilities.
Desirable Skills:
– Formal sales and/or account management training.
– Familiarity with NHS networks and procurement processes.
– Proficient in complex data analysis.
– Background in Haematology and Haemostasis is advantageous.
