Role Overview
Selling IVD solutions to Haematology, Immunology & Clinical Chemistry labs, this Territory Manager will cover the South UK.
TTY: South London, Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Avon, Surrey.)
Products: Diagnostic assays and instrumentation
Clients: NHS: Haematology, Immunology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Sciences.
Role Requirements
Duties:
– Delivering of sales targets for the region: defence of current business and growth of business via new leads and existing customers.
– Liaising directly with UK Field Sales Manager (as well as the National Sales Manager and the UK General Manager)
– Analysing current marketplace and feeding back important market and competitive information
– Planning, executing, and managing sales strategies as laid out by the National Sales Manager – this will require working in equal partnership alongside the UK Field MSL’s
– Visiting customers across the defined region.
– Maintaining and building (new) relationships with existing and new customers across Ireland
– Responding to customer enquiries
– Working with the Contracts Manager to successfully complete tender bids on time.
– Working with UK (and Global) marketing team(s) to deliver improvements in brand engagement for all products
– Developing laboratory KOL Advocates for the products (some of whom can be used as ‘independent’ coaches across Ireland)
– Communicating effectively to all internal stakeholders and Sales team
Person Specifications
Candidate specification:
– BSc Biological Science or Life Sciences (or equivalent).
– Knowledge of NHS, especially pathology laboratory.
– Experience of working within the NHS in one of the fields of Haematology, Immunology, Clinical – Chemistry, Blood Sciences OR experience of pathology/diagnostic sales
– Excellent organisation skills
– Excellent communication skills
– To self-motivated and show initiative
– The ability to analyse data
– Good IT skills (EXCEL, Word, PowerPoint)
– To be flexible to the needs of the business
– Good driving record
