Territory Manager

Our clients product portfolio includes a wide range of microscope systems used in clinical diagnostics, medical and basic research, as well as in various industrial areas. In addition, they offer videoscopes, products for non-destructive testing techniques and for X-ray fluorescence analysis.
As a Sales Territory Manager (m/w/d) – Bavaria – remote You will be responsible for the sale of microscopy products into life science markets in your territory. Your sales territory includes Munich for the most part but also surrounding areas throughout Bavaria.
Role Requirements
– Own and drive territory pipeline growth and project conversion to meet business goals by leading all sales activities for your areas of responsibility, including customer meetings, live product demonstrations, application workshops and exhibitions.
– Define and execute territory action plans which are aligned with and support the delivery Evident strategic goals.
– Develop business across a wide variety of life science markets including clinical pathology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and academic research.
– Participating in exhibitions, workshops, and educational meetings as required by the company.
– Enhance customer relationships by building trust in our clients products and services through consistently delivering expert advice and clearly communicating in line with their values and behaviours.
– Accurately document sales activities in CRM systems in a timely manner in accordance with company guidelines.
Person Specifications
– A degree level education in Life or Physical Sciences or similar is an advantage.
– A full UK driving licence.
– Relevant experience in a scientific and /or engineering environment is essential.
– Experience of high value or complex technical sales is advantageous.
– Experience working with Microscopy is desirable.
– Experience in using and/or selling advanced software-controlled instrumentation is desirable.
– Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills Native English speaker or excellent communication skill in English.
– Ability to confidently present their value proposition to a range of stakeholders (technical and non-technical).
– You are highly customer oriented and have a positive winning attitude.
– You are highly motivated to work in a multicultural environment.
– Good working knowledge of MS Office packages including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
– Regular travel throughout the sales territory, including overnight stays.
– Occasional travel outside of the sales territory, including overnight stays.
