Role Overview
As a Sales Territory Manager (m/w/d) – North Rhine-Westphalia – remote You will be responsible for the sale of microscopy products into life science markets in your territory. Your sales territory will be covering the North Rhine- Westphalia.

In addition, our client offers videoscopes, products for non-destructive testing techniques and for X-ray fluorescence analysis.
Role Requirements
– You look after existing customers and are responsible for the acquisition of new customers in the field of microscopy, imaging and high-end solutions (at laboratories, research centers, universities, hospitals, etc.); you are responsible for the planning, preparation and follow-up of customer visits.
– You are responsible for sales in the specified sales area and product groups and strive to achieve the planned sales and targets.
– You are responsible for achieving the planned sales targets in the specified sales area and develop and implement sales strategies using pipeline and forecast activities.
– You demonstrate products and hold training sessions at customers’ locations and at trade fairs.
– Your responsibilities include building relationships with customers and attending specific training courses.
– You take part in tenders and negotiate prices and offers.
– You develop customer relationships in research contexts.
Person Specifications
– You have preferably successfully completed a university degree in natural sciences, biology, chemistry, physics or related subjects.
– Experience in sales would be desirable.
– Candidates with experience in research and science are welcome
– You have in-depth knowledge of optics or microscopy and have a solid technical understanding and manual skills.
– You love communicating with people, selling products and working with life science solutions and microscopy.
– You are persistent and don’t let a “no” throw you off track.
– You speak fluent German and English and are resilient, flexible and a team player.
– You are highly motivated to work in a multicultural environment and willing to travel.
– You are very customer service-oriented and have a positive, winning attitude. You seek challenges and can convince customers with your winning charisma and competence.
