Territory Manager
Role Overview
The client are looking for a proactive Territory Manager to cover their Scotland territory. The candidate must be focused and able to work autonomously. The territory is established with business across patch, but there is plenty of business to be won – they are looking for someone with a hunter profile to develop new business and establish new contacts.
You will also need to manage and grow existing business organically to ensure the maintainance of current contracts and relationships.

Role Requirements
· Promote and develop product portfolio to an agreed target market within the Healthcare sector.
· Increase overall sales volume of products with high sales call rates within a designated regional territory by attaining or exceeding established sales budgets and objectives.
· Gain In-depth product knowledge; features, benefits, demonstrations, pricing and promotions.
· Present product portfolio to customer groups as agreed with Manager.
· Build knowledge of territory and competitors which result in a high level of business management on territory.
· Provide technical expertise to customers.
· Develop excellent business relationships with all our customers.
· Develop and maintain all new and existing accounts within the territory.
· Develop and layout customer proposals, tenders and quotations.
· Provide positive and constructive collaboration and communication with both internal and external staff and customers.
· Identify and follow up on business potential and opportunities including organising and running meetings.
· Develop and champion a product’s vision, strategy and create, formulate and implement product(s) positioning plan for market success.
· Develop and increase medical acumen to expand knowledge of our customers in use and application of our product lines in targeted “Priority Accounts”.
· Develop key customer network & assist in developing key opinion leaders and reference sites, as part of the strategy to penetrate the market with new products.
· Partner with the sales teams to effectively drive related promotional programs, solidify the Clinical value of our products and expand utilisation throughout the key accounts.
· Deliver product training to internal and external customers. This will be mainly through presentation, executive reporting and seminars.
· Develop teaching and installation processes of new equipment and systems.
· Support product implementation and deployment for large & complex projects taken on by the division.
Person Specifications
Essential Requirements for the Role
· Strong commercial background demonstrated by previous commercial achievements.
· Experience of Hospital environment – preferably medical devices/ medtech sales selling capital and/ or surgical equipment into a theatre environment.
· Goal orientated, independent and commercially driven.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Excellent planning and organisational skills.
· Flexibility to adapt plans to suit business demands.
· Strong negotiation skills.
· Ability to learn and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position.
· Computer literate with knowledge of word processing applications and Excel spreadsheets.
· Full UK driving licence.
· Fluent in English.
