Are you looking to reduce the amount of time spent on the road but still work on extremely high-end portfolio of Life Science instrumentation?

We have a brilliant opportunity to join an incredibly well established leader in the pharmaceutical space as a workshop engineer for their renowned diagnostic division based in Wokingham.

The successful individual will also need to be open to occasional travel out in the field to support the team.

Role Requirements

· To ensure that customers receive the highest level of support service in the diagnostics industry.
· To deal with all customers in a professional and courteous manner.
· To ensure that all systems are maintained to the highest standards and fixed as rapidly as possible when they have a problem.
· To provide workshop support to internal and external stakeholders and to maintain both service stock and loan instrumentation.
· Carrying out Field Service responsibilities when necessary.
· Relevant qualifications (at least to HNC level – desirable not essential) in science or engineering subjects.
· Electro-mechanical Engineering experience is essential.
· Willingness to commute to Wokingham on a regular basis and be primarily workshop-based is essential.
· Field service experience within a high-tech field, ideally within medical instrumentation.
· Experience of workshop operations, supporting field service, field applications and sales teams.
· Familiarity with the administration required to ensure smooth running of a workshop.
