Abu Dhabi and GSK Forge Partnership for Multi-omics Research

Abu Dhabi is making strides in healthcare innovation by partnering with biopharmaceutical giant GSK to establish a Multi-omics Research Institute. Announced during Abu Dhabi Global Health Week, the collaboration aims to embed early-stage research in the UAE, focusing primarily on genomic advancements in oncology. The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office recently inked a significant Memorandum of Understanding with GSK, a leader in biopharma innovation. The multi-omics approach, which examines complex interactions between biological molecules, holds potential for revolutionising healthcare by providing deeper insights into disease mechanisms.
