Carestream Dental Receives $525M Investment to Enhance Digital Solutions

Carestream Dental, a leading provider of digital dental solutions, has secured a substantial $525 million investment through a recapitalization led by General Atlantic Credit’s Atlantic Park fund. Supported by Canyon Partners and other investors, this funding will help reduce debt and drive innovation in the oral healthcare sector.

Since its inception in 2017, Carestream Dental has been at the forefront of transforming dentistry with advanced technology, serving over one million users in more than 100 countries. This new capital will enable the company to expand its product offerings and form new partnerships with corporate clients.

CEO Lisa Ashby expressed excitement about the strengthened partnerships, emphasizing how the investment will boost innovation in AI oral healthcare technologies. As part of its growth strategy, Carestream Dental is also launching an Oral Healthcare Innovation Hub to fuel future advancements, with a formal debut scheduled for the 2025 International Dental Show.
