Henry Schein UK embraces the season of giving and contributes to “Holiday Cheer for Children” programme

Gillingham, 16 January 2025 – Henry Schein, Inc. and Team Schein Members (TSMs) from around the world have once again helped to brighten the holidays for individuals in need. Through its 26^th annual “Holiday Cheer” programme, TSMs at 15 company locations delivered joy to more than 1,150 individuals in the United States, Italy, United Kingdom, and Ireland this season. 

Since 1999, this corporate flagship initiative has helped more than 20,000 underserved children, their families, and senior citizens experience cheerful holidays, with TSMs donating clothing, comfort items, toys, gift cards, and more.

“Holiday Cheer” takes on different forms depending on the location. In the UK, Team Schein embraced the spirit of giving by organizing several charitable initiatives to support the local community. A raffle held during the Gillingham Christmas Party raised funds for My Shining Star, a local children’s cancer charity providing vital advice and practical support for families affected by cancer. The team also hosted a reverse advent calendar donation station, with proceeds benefiting Gillingham Street Angels, a local homeless support group and soup kitchen.

In addition, a Christmas jumper day raised funds for Save the Children, and volunteers participated in the Christmas Grotto at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital in Cardiff, helping create a magical experience for young patients.
