New Canine Cancer Tests Presented in Europe by Division of Mars
In the UK and throughout Europe, Antech, a division of Mars Science and Diagnostics, has introduced a novel cancer test for dogs in veterinary clinics.
The newly developed tool called the Nu.Q Canine Cancer Test examines circulating nucleosomes to help identify cancer early in a few of the more frequently identified forms of tumours in dogs.
The business claims that Nu.Q testing yields reliable findings in 5 to 10 minutes with just 50µL of EDTA plasma from the dog.
The equipment should be used, according to the business, by veterinarians on yearly examinations or senior wellness checks for senior patients and those that are more susceptible to health issues.
