Omnicell Unveils New International GM

Francois Verdeaux has been named General Manager of Omnicell International by Omnicell, a global supplier of medication administration and adherence software for pharmacies and healthcare organisations.

In April 2021, Verdeaux became a Vice President of International Sales at Omnicell. He will concentrate on enhancing Omnicell’s reputation for providing top-notch technological solutions that improve patient care and expedite pharmacy processes in his new position.

“I am honoured by the trust and confidence placed in me by the Omnicell senior leadership team,” said Verdeaux.

He continued: “We aim to partner with healthcare systems and caregivers to transform the pharmacy care delivery model. Our goal is to enable pharmacists, nurses, and caregivers to practice at the top of their licence by removing administrative burdens and allowing them to focus on patient care.”

Leading the charge to increase Omnicell’s automation and medication adherence products’ reach into foreign markets will be Verdaux. By streamlining hospital and community pharmacy operations, increasing patient safety, and opening up time for clinical services, automation is completely changing the sector.
