Walmart Shutting Down Healthcare Services

Walmart Health centres and Walmart Health Virtual Care, which started back in 2019 are closing, the company stated. 51 locations spread across 5 US states will close as a result.

90% of Americans reside 10 miles or less from a Walmart store, based on a news statement. Walmart stated that the initial facility was established to benefit nearby residents by offering readily available and reasonably priced healthcare.  

Walmart stated that the work put into those amenities will be incorporated into its various health and wellness services around the nation, which comprise of around 4600 pharmacies and more than 3000 opticians amid the intentions to remove all of their health centre sites and discontinue online amenities.
