PRODUCTS: Pathology Laboratory plastic consumables, blood collection equipment, diagnostic kits.
CUSTOMERS: Laboratory managers, Supplies Managers, Confederation/Consortium Leads, Phlebotomy Managers, IP/IC Nurses, Occi Health Managers, PD Managers.
Role Requirements
The role:
The function of this role is to promote and sell the Company’s market leading, high quality closed blood collection systems. Business will be developed with existing and new clients within the private and public health sectors, from pathology managers and phlebotomists to GPs and senior practice nurses. Additional responsibilities of this role include the demonstration of the products and training of healthcare staff to ensure they gain maximum benefit from the products superior features. The portfolio of products, which includes a number of innovative accessories, ensures the collection of blood for a variety of tests is carried out safely and hygienically.
Person Specifications
– Most suited to this role would be someone with previous experience of selling clinical products to the healthcare market, ideally to pathology laboratories, or a senior laboratory technician or manager (Pathology), or a senior healthcare professional that has been responsible for a blood collection team.
– Product knowledge of pathology plastic consumables, such as blood collection equipment is essential.
– A high degree of self-motivation, discipline and self-efficiency would serve this role well, as would a dynamic interest and ability in meeting and working with clients across the healthcare sector.
