Role Overview

Job Description: The Cleanroom Supply Sales Manager position will work with the team and prospective clients to build trusting relationships and understand their unique challenges and goals. You will be responsible for selling cleanroom supply solutions to any industries where high-end cleanroom supplies are needed such as pharmacy compounding, biotechnology, tissue processing, cell & gene therapy (CGT), semiconductor, aerospace, trace metals, and medical devices. You will serve as the single point of contact for clients as they explore short and long-term cleanroom supply solutions. You will develop proposals and advance the sales process which includes new business development to initial sales lead to closing.

Role Requirements

Job Responsibilities:
– Identify and target prospective clients in industries requiring cleanroom supply solutions. Develop a strategic plan to target and engage with key decision-makers in industries such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, healthcare, biotechnology, and manufacturing.
– Drive sales growth by generating leads, developing relationships, and closing deals. Develop and implement effective sales strategies that build a strong pipeline and actively manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals within the Salesforce.com CRM.
– Understand client needs and provide tailored cleanroom supply solutions. Collaborate with technical teams to develop comprehensive proposals and present them to clients.
– Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients as a trusted technical cleanroom supply consultant. Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and requests. Provide exceptional customer service ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
– Monitor market trends, analyze sales performance, and provide reports. Use data-driven analysis to identify areas for improvement and refine sales strategies.
– Represent the company at customer sites, trade shows, and networking events. Deliver compelling presentations and engage with potential clients to generate leads and expand the customer base.
– Forecast sales, track performance, and manage budgets.
– Continuously learn and develop sales skills in the cleanroom industry. Participate in training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
– Achieve and exceed financial revenue and booking targets.

Person Specifications

Education and experience:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Engineering, Sciences, or related fields preferred.
– 3+ years’ experience in a technical consultative sales or business development role with high transactional consumable sales cycles
– Cleanroom-related consumables roles preferred.
– Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office 365.
– Experience with sales quotas, and forecasting.
– Successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.

– Ability to drive market share by listening to clients and developing creative solutions. You’ll be successful by showcasing the company as a provider of creative innovative cleanroom supply solutions, not simply products.
– Ability to influence without authority and collaborate across all levels of an organization (internal and external).
– Hunter mentality with a demonstrated track record of success and consultative selling.
– Excellent presentation skills in the customer environment and show team orientation, communication skills, and customer orientation.
– High degree of business acumen to include standard competencies (financial, market positioning, healthcare industry, and customer), to enable sound decisions.
– Demonstrates knowledge of the organization’s business practices and issues.
– Ability to develop an understanding of product knowledge on all product lines.
– Achieve business objectives for assigned territory (for example, penetration of account with product/solutions offerings).
– Guide the development and execution of strategic account plans.
– Develop, build, and cultivate long-term relationships with key management in the customer organization.
– Assist management in devising sales plans and strategies, develop sales forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for product sales channels.

Base salary up to $100,000 (flexible dependent on experience)
OTE $150k+ (uncapped)
