Technical Cleanroom Sales Manager – Flow Cleanroom
Role Overview
Job Description: The Technical Cleanroom Sales Manager position will be remotely located. You will work with the team and prospective clients to build trusting relationships and understand their unique challenges and goals. You will be responsible for selling Cleanrooms solutions and capital equipment to any industries where high-end cleanrooms are needed such as pharmacy compounding, biotechnology, tissue processing, cell & gene therapy (CGT), semiconductor, aerospace, trace metals, and medical devices. You will serve as the single point of contact for clients as they explore short and long-term cleanroom solutions, and you will work closely with our Cleanroom Engineering team to develop proposals and advance the sales process from initial sales lead to closing.
Role Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
– Identify and target prospective clients in industries requiring cleanroom solutions. Develop a strategic plan to target and engage with key decision-makers in industries such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, healthcare, biotechnology, and manufacturing.
– Drive sales growth by generating leads, developing relationships, and closing deals. Develop and implement effective sales strategies that build a strong pipeline and actively manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals within the Salesforce.com CRM.
– Understand client needs and provide tailored cleanroom solutions. Collaborate with technical teams and engineers to develop comprehensive proposals and present them to clients.
– Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients as a trusted technical cleanroom consultant. Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and requests. Provide exceptional customer service ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
– Coordinate with Engineering, Service, and Project Management to provide accurate updates for customers and smooth project implementation.
– Monitor market trends, analyze sales performance, and provide reports. Use data-driven analysis to identify areas for improvement and refine sales strategies.
– Represent the company at customer sites, trade shows, and networking events. Deliver compelling presentations and engage with potential clients to generate leads and expand the customer base.
– Forecast sales, track performance, and manage budgets.
– Continuously learn and develop sales skills in the cleanroom industry. Participate in training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
– Achieve and exceed financial revenue and booking targets.
Person Specifications
Education and experience:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
– 5+ years’ experience in a sales or business development role with cleanroom-related roles strongly preferred.
– Technical solution-based capital equipment sales.
– Professional sales training like SPIN or Miller-Heiman a plus.
– Experience with sales quotas, and forecasting.
– Successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
– Success with both shorter, high transactional, and longer-term sales cycles.
– Willing to travel up to 25-50%+ as needed.

– Ability to drive market share by listening to clients and developing creative solutions.
– Ability to influence without authority and collaborate across all levels of an organization (internal and external).

– Ability to develop an understanding of product knowledge on all product lines.
– Achieve business objectives for assigned territory (for example, penetration of account with product/solutions offerings).
– Guide the development and execution of strategic account plans.
– Develop, build, and cultivate long-term relationships with key management in the customer organization.
– Assist management in devising sales plans and strategies, develop sales forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for product sales channels.
Package
Base salary up to $180,000 dependent on experience
On target up to $225k (uncapped)
