Dechra saddles up for BEVA Congress

Dechra is hosting a series of ‘meet the expert’ sessions on its stand (stand G12) at BEVA Congress, which takes place from Wednesday 11th to Saturday 14th September 2024 in Liverpool, focusing on strangles and PPID (pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction), otherwise known as Equine Cushing’s disease.

The half hour sessions will take place from 10am to 10.30am and from 1pm to 1.30pm on the Thursday and Friday and from 10am to 10.30am on the Saturday and will feature industry experts talking about the benefits of Dechra’s growing equine portfolio, which includes Strangvac and Pergocoat. These include Professor Gayle Hallowell and Professor Mark Bowen, Andrew Waller, chief scientific officer at Intervacc AB, and independent equine medicine and therapeutics consultant, Dave Rendle.

Dechra’s stand will feature an interactive zone to enable delegates to explore the extensive benefits of Strangvac and Pergocoat by reading ‘did you know’ facts about each of the products hidden in and behind interactive elements. All the answers found on the stand can be submitted in a prize draw competition by scanning a QR code and answering five questions, with vets being given the opportunity to win one of two £200 BEVA CPD vouchers.
