Medline Purchases Ecolab Surgical solutions Company

Ecolab said that it has successfully sold Medline its worldwide surgical solutions division for a sum of about $950 million.

The firms declared in April that they had reached an agreement that would provide Medline with entry to Ecolab’s Microtek product lines. Ecolab’s fluid temperature control system, operating room supplies, and sterile drape solutions are among the other products offered.

Ecolab plans to keep operating its infection control and instrument reprocessing operations in order to keep providing healthcare facilities after the transaction. Programs for environmental hygiene are offered by the firm as part of its infection prevention offering to lower hospital-acquired infections. Instrument reprocessing offers methods for sterilising and cleaning instruments.
