Pearl Collaborates with Patterson Dental for AI Advancement

In order to increase the availability of Pearl’s Second Opinion AI disease identification capabilities inside the Canadian dentistry market, Patterson dentistry Canada, Inc., a subsidiary of Patterson Companies, Inc., and Pearl, the world leader in dental AI solutions, recently unveiled their cooperation.

Dentists can receive assistance in radiologic assessment and presenting cases of dental problems typically seen in dental x-rays, such as calculus, caries, and bone loss, via Pearl’s immediate AI programme for pathology identification, Second Opinion. Dentists can scan x-rays of patients more quickly and precisely thanks to this technological device, which was granted a Medical Device Establishment Licence (MDEL) by Health Canada in 2021. This improves clinical performance and patient interaction.
