Whilst I ultimately didn’t take a role that Zenopa found for me, my incredibly positive experience with them tells an important story about their approach and relationships. First things first, they immediately understood the type of roles I was interested in and had a clear appreciation of my background, what it offered any potential employer, and importantly for me, where I might thrive. Through the entire recruiting process they were second to none at keeping me up to date on feedback, while sharing their point of view given their knowledge of the clients, and they were excellent at keeping momentum going. When an offer came through, they were very straightforward with the salary negotiations and very good at giving context and framing realistic expectations. Perhaps the most impressive part of my dealings with Zenopa came when I didn’t then take the role. They were very open to understanding why, did not try to ‘sell’ the role further, but listened to my personal situation and helped communicate this to the employer to ensure that I came across well and not as a time-waster. All in all, they were consistently on the ball, but more than that, they showed huge understanding and empathy throughout. If I were ever to return to the UK and be looking for a role, Zenopa would be top of the phone list.
