We understand that a Clinical Specialist needs to be an expert in the given therapy area and needs to be able to offer specialist advice to Clinicians, clear in their knowledge of the devices and how these are used most effectively.

At Zenopa we map the market and source candidates either already in a Clinical Specialist position, or those currently positioned as a Clinicians/ Surgeons, now looking to transition into a more commercial role. These may include ODP’s, Theatre/ Scrub Nurses, Theatre Practitioners etc. We ensure that the professionals we are sending forward have an aligned understanding of that specific product so there is less of a jump and you save resources that may have been spent on initial training.

Common challenges often are that candidates don’t understand what a commercial position looks like, particularly the demands of being field-based with regular travel. We qualify the motivations for that individual and educate/ guide them on what the role will look like to ensure it aligns with their expectations and motivations. This often has a knock on effect on retention, with new hires choosing to stay at your business for longer.
