Business Development Manager
Role Overview
You will drive new business across the Northeast region. This is a strategic opportunity for someone with deep experience in technical sales, a passion for life sciences, and the ambition to help shape a scalable, customer-first sales organization.

Our client is a fast-growing platform delivering technical service, preventative maintenance, and equipment solutions for analytical instruments, serving the pharmaceutical, biotech, clinical, academic, and research markets. Backed by a major growth investment in 2023, they’re expanding nationally and building a high-performance commercial team.
Role Requirements
Generate new business across key end-markets, including pharma, biotech, and research.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of service contracts and equipment sales opportunities.
Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
Collaborate with service, customer success, and operations teams to ensure delivery excellence.
Establish and refine sales processes, tools, and reporting.
Contribute to long-term commercial strategy and, over time, help grow a larger sales team.
Person Specifications
5+ years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within life sciences or instrumentation services.
Strong knowledge of analytical instrumentation (e.g., Agilent, Sciex, Waters, Shimadzu).
Proven ability to close complex deals and manage a full sales cycle.
Self-starter mindset with the ability to build and optimize systems and workflows.
Comfortable operating in a growing, fast-paced organization.
Bachelor’s degree required.
