Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join a well-established analytical equipment servicing company based in Granville, Ohio. The company focus on preventative maintenance across multiple instruments (Agilent, ThermoFisher, Shimadzu), with a major focus on SCIEX mass spectroscopy equipment.

With more than 30 years of experience maintaining and repairing laboratory instrumentation, we’ve serviced thousands of pieces of instrumentation for over 200 clients nationwide.

Role Requirements

Duties:
– Traveling to client sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
– Conducting regular maintenance and inspections of machinery
– Providing training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance procedures
– Documenting service activities, including repairs and parts used

Person Specifications

Skills:
– Experience in servicing analytical equipment is essential.
– Ideal experience includes exposure to LC-MS or HP-LC equipment within an analytical science environment
Travel requirements:
– Most service contracts will be around a 4 hour radius from their headquarters in Granville, OH
– Estimated 1 overnight stay a week
