Major Life Science Complex Given The All-clear

The establishment of one of the EU’s biggest life sciences sites, Reef Group & UBS Asset Management was given the go-ahead.

The beneficial choice was determined by the planning board of Stevenage Borough Corporation and will open up possibilities for a new life science centre.

The project will be carried out in partnership with Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst’s broader ecosystem and GSK’s current worldwide R&D resources.

The “Elevate Quarter” complex, will have a range of functions, including workspaces for scientific research, production facilities, and adaptable lab establishments.

The newly constructed building will strengthen Stevenage’s status as Europe’s top destination for cutting-edge medicines.
In fact, it is the location of over forty companies that hire more than 3,500 individuals.

“The delivery of the new life sciences campus will leverage years of unparalleled experience across both UBS and Reef,” stated the Portfolio Supervisor for property at UBS Asset Management, Olivia Drew

She went on to say, “The structures’ meticulous design will enable cutting-edge R&D and advanced production while also being at the forefront of sustainability.”
