Randox Laboratories: Diagnostic solutions for veterinary testing

Randox Laboratories has affirmed the wide range of testing solutions it manufactures and supplies for all types of veterinary laboratory.

From manual tests for veterinary clinics to fully automated analysers for large referral labs, the UK-based diagnostic company’s core products include Biochip Array technology and clinical chemistry analysers and reagents.

Other clinical diagnostic products manufactured and marketed by the international firm are recombinant proteins and antibodies, environmental diagnostics and quality controls and EQA.

The company has pointed out that because many countries limit or ban drug residues in meat and meat products, "sensitive, reliable and cost-effective methods of monitoring drug residues are essential to ensure that levels remain within defined limits."

"Randox drug residue ELISAs are specific, easy-to-use, fast and cost effective. To complement our drug residue tests, Randox have developed a range of immunoaffinity columns for safe and efficient sample purification," a Randox spokesperson highlighted.

"In addition, Randox’s innovative Biochip Array Technology provides multiplex drug residue testing. Our Growth Promoter and Anti-Microbial arrays enable simultaneous quantitative testing for up to 12 drug residues in a single drop of sample," continued the representative.
