Premier dental conference ‘a success’

6th December 2007

A major dental symposium which took place at King’s College last week has been hailed as a “great success”.

The seventh annual Premier Symposium is organised by Dental Protection and Sch?lke, and saw 300 delegates descend upon the college to discuss issues affecting the dental industry, Dentistry.co.uk reported.

Dr. Kevin Lewis, dental director of Dental Protection, chaired the event and said that next year there would be space for even more delegates to attend.

“The success of the Premier Symposium is based on two essential components; the calibre of speakers and relevance of the topics to our audience,” he commented.

Topics discussed by speakers and delegates included local anaesthesia and issues surrounding it, managing medical emergencies and modern restorative techniques.

Next year, Dental Protection is to join forces with other industry bodies to present the 2008 Young Dentist Conference, with Sir Alan Sugar as the guest speaker.
