Pressure group launches job site

7th January 2008

A pressure group set up to challenge the implementation of training reform for doctors has set up a new website to help those involved in the recruitment process in 2008.

The website from RemedyUK operates by searching BMJ Careers and NHS Job for specialty training points, foundation trust posts and fixed-term specialty training appointments, with the site updated every hour.

Additionally, the site monitors 20 other websites offering specialty training posts every day, while the group has made the site available as a free resource to all doctors in order to simplify the recruitment procedure this year after difficulties experienced in 2007.

“We are aiming to provide a comprehensive list of all jobs,” RemedyUK said.

“In order to achieve this, we have tested the site and our search programmes and we will manually check for new jobs daily.”

The group adds that it cannot guarantee that it will capture 100 per cent of available jobs and has urged readers to get in touch with the organisation if they identify jobs not on their database.

RemedyUK was founded in November and is now supported by over 13,000 members and affiliates.

Last week, the British Medical Association warned that problems that affected the recruitment of junior doctors last year could be repeated as a result of inadequate planning and high levels of competition.

We have hundreds of jobs available across the Healthcare industry, find your perfect one now.
