Diasorin reports strong gains in revenue and profitability

Diasorin’s board of directors has approved its full-year results for 2007.

The company recorded strong gains in revenues and profitability with highlights including a consolidated net revenue rise of 202.3 million euros (£157.9 million) – 12.6 per cent more than the 179.8 million euro (£140 million) increase noted in 2006.

Consolidated net profit totalled 25.2 million euros (£19.7 million), or 13.1 per cent more than in 2006.

Earnings before interest and taxes increased to 46.1 million euros (£35 million); net of extraordinary expense/income the figure was 50.1 million euros (£39.1 million), for a gain of 30.8 per cent compared with 38.3 million euros (£29.9 million) earned in 2006.

The Diasorin Group develops produces and distributes immunoreagent kits for clinical diagnostics.

It employs more than 800 workers across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
