Farfield adds two new recruits to boost sales process

8th April 2008

Farfield has added strength to its sales team in a bid to raise sales and improve strength.

The firm, which is an expert in analytical instrumentation for the international biophysics, surface science and nanotechnology communities, has announced that it has expanded its sales team by recruiting two new product specialists.

New recruit Dr Usha Devi, who has recently completed a PhD at the Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre where she studied the binding of synthetic molecules to liposomes to create pores and monitor leakage, said she was "proud to be part of Farfield".

Dr Tim Fagge, who joins from Millipore, has over ten years experience in diagnostic assay development, proteomics and biochemistry in both academic and industrial environments and said he looks forward to making a "significant contribution" to the future development of the company.

Their roles will be to boost the sales process by giving seminars and providing increased customer support in new areas for the Crewe-based company.

Dr Robert Hutton, Farfield’s sales and marketing director, said: "I am delighted that such talented people have joined our team. I am confident that this will be a great career move for them and a real boost for Farfield’s sales process. I have high expectations for increased productivity and global growth."
