GE Healthcare showcases range of imaging technological evolutions

GE Healthcare has showcased a broad range of technological evolutions in molecular imaging at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO) held from May 30th to June 2nd in Chicago.

Technology on show at the GE booth at the event include the IN Cell Analyzer, Positron Emission Tomography/Volume Computer Assisted Reading and FastLab automated PET radiopharmacy.

The company exhibited the breadth of its range in oncology, from IT solutions designed to enhance productivity to treatment monitoring products.

Products on show at the event aim to aid understanding of the molecular root of diseases and explore new paths for detecting, monitoring and treating illnesses at an earlier stage.

Jean-Luc Vanderheyden, global molecular imaging leader at GE Healthcare, said: “GE Healthcare’s leadership in molecular imaging continues to attract partners from the pharmaceutical industry and academic centres of excellence worldwide.”

He added that the conference of the ASCO has given the company an opportunity to reach healthcare provider and show their progress in the fields of molecular imaging and oncology.

Last month, GE Healthcare IT announced that it would use the AnyModal Conversation Doucment Service advanced speech technology in its Centricity RIS IC Reporting module.
