MDS Analytical Technologies has released three new molecular biology instruments to help with breakthroughs in life sciences.
The instruments are designed to advance genomics and microgenomics discoveries for researchers in the field.
According to the manufacturer, the new products provide scientists with flexible and open platforms to perform sensitive and specific molecular analysis of many fields, including stem cell research, cancer research and drug discovery.
Dr Andy Boorn, president of the firm, said: "These new products continue our tradition of innovation and excellence, offering reliability, flexibility, and high performance solutions for life sciences researchers."
The instruments include two new scanners the Axon GenePix 4300A and 4400A which represent the latest MDS analysis systems and offer a broad applicability in the microarray industry.
MDS claims to be a leading global supplier of life sciences tools.
It is comprised of two main brands, Sciex for mass spectrometry and Molecular Devices for bioanalytical measurement systems.
