Speakers announced for Straumann congress

The speakers for the forthcoming Straumann Symposium have been revealed by the event’s host.

Switzerland-based Straumann, a global leader in implant and restorative dentistry, has included the UK’s Stephen Barter on the roster of speakers for its EAO 2008 Congress.

Also confirmed for the evening, which takes place in Warsaw on September 19th, are Jan Gottlow of Malmo and Irena Sailer and Christoph Hammerle of Zurich.

Mr Barter’s speech will be entitled New reduced-diameter implants for wider clinical options and will focus on the results of tests on narrower technologies.

Earlier this month, Straumann announced the launch of the ITI Education website, in collaboration with the UK & Ireland ITI Section.

It also launched a new range of prosthetic options under its Bone Level Implant portfolio, as well as a new set of components for its Narrow CrossFit Connection product.
