Waters to webcast Q2 results

The Waters Corporation has announced it will present its 2008 second quarter financial results via a live webcast today at 08:30 ET.

Investors who want to listen to the conference call can connect via the organisation’s website and click onto the live webcast.

For those who miss the conference call, it will be made available for replays until July 29th at midnight ET.

Earlier in the month, the firm unveiled a new customer showcase to celebrate its clients’ scientific achievements aided through the business’ products.

Art Caputo, executive vice president of the organisation, said: "It is rewarding to know that what we do at Waters makes a difference in helping to solve some of the world’s most important scientific challenges."

The company’s overall revenue in 2007 reached 1.47 billion dollars (745 million pounds) and it employs more than 5,000 staff.

It claims to be driving scientific discovery and operational excellence for customers worldwide.
