Genzyme figures show profits rise

Genzyme has released its directors’ report and audited accounts for the year to December 31st 2007.

The firm’s turnover hit £64.77 million, compared to £35.84 million the year before.

Pre-tax profits stood at £3.35 million, while retained profit for the period was £2.7 million.

Genzyme was established in 1981 in Boston, Massachusetts.
