Iams teams up with Felicity Huffman

8th October 2008

Iams and Desperate Housewives actress Felicity Huffman have teamed up to promote an animal adoption programme.

The company – maker of food for dogs and cats – has launched a scheme called Home 4 the Holidays to run over the festive period, CBS has reported.

Speaking on the Early Show, Huffman said Iams have 3,000 shelters across the world, with dogs and cats of all kinds looking for a home.

Iams wants one million orphaned cats and dogs to be adopted before January 5th to decrease the number of animals put down due to overcrowding in shelters.

Huffman said potential pet owners can go to Iams’ website to find the nearest shelter.

“Not only can you adopt your best friend who is there waiting for you, but they also give you an education programme,” she explained.
