Thermo Fisher Scientific announces global seminar programme
Thermo Fisher Scientific has announced a worldwide programme of seminars on rheology and other specialist subjects.
Carried out in English, Mandarin, French and German, the seminars are aimed at helping users to "optimise their current application as well as develop new and innovative applications", according to the company. They will use hands-on instruction and focus on specific applications.
Practical training will form the base of specialist seminars expected to attract trained rheologists, with external speakers discussing extensional and polymer rheology.
Those in scientific sales jobs may be interested in more basic seminars – called Applied Rheology – which include modules on oscillatory, creep and viscoelasticity testing, Thermo Scientific HAAKE RheoWin software and basics and rotational testing.
Paints, inks and coatings, starch and food and oilfields will also be covered by compact seminars.
This week, Thermo Fisher Scientific also published an application note on how its technology can be used to improve the accuracy of detecting low levels of mercury in fish.
We have hundreds of jobs available across the Healthcare industry, find your perfect one now.
