Reckitt Benckiser announces new EVP supply
Reckitt Benckiser has announced Alain Le Goff will retire from his role as EVP supply and Amedeo Fasano will take over the position.
Mr Goff’s retirement from the company will be effective from mid-March 2009, after working for the firm for 23 years.
He joined the FTSE top 25 company as an industrial director in France and then Germany, becoming overall logistics director shortly after this.
Ahead of the creation of the firm he became EVP supply and has sat on the executive committee ever since, helping the company to achieve one of the highest gross margin performances in the industry, due to developing two cost optimisation programmes.
Mr Fasano, who joined the company in 1997 as a supply director for Italy, will take Mr Goff’s place on the executive committee.
At present, he is leading the supply function for developing markets, before which he held supply management roles in Europe and North America.
Reckitt Benckiser’s headquarters are based in the United Kingdom and is a global company which employs 23,000 people worldwide with operations in 60 locations.
It specialises in household, health and personal care, selling its products in 180 countries.
